Description

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon Air products and technology offerings to sell into domestic law enforcement agencies.
  • Partner with the broader Axon sales team as a functional expert on the Air program.
  • Use Google alerts, RFP requests, and other sources to generate leads and pursue opportunities.
  • Build a strong contact network within assigned accounts and maintain customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute account strategy with the team to deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Prepare forecast predictions and provide timely account updates to management.
  • Collect intelligence on competitor activity and share feedback with marketing for continuous improvement.
  • Track customer activity in Salesforce and other internal systems to execute account strategy and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Account Executive role.
  • Experience using Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the territory, including overnights.
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technology.
  • Experience with end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Ability to strategically win new accounts and expand existing accounts.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial fashion within a new company initiative.
  • Startup experience and some vertical experience are a plus.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
