Description

  • Buy and sell scrap and recycled PET (rPET).
  • Develop new suppliers of rPET and new domestic customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships through active, on-the-road business development.
  • Own your assigned region and manage domestic rPET sourcing with autonomy.
  • Collaborate closely with local and global teams across multiple countries.
  • Use cold calling and market research to win new clients.
  • Follow internal procedures and policies, including CRM, admin, trial policies, and customer onboarding.
  • Manage existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate with customers to maximize margins and close deals.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth mission and continue building technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience in selling or buying prime or recycled PET.
  • Significant commodity sales experience working on the road and exceeding financial targets.
  • Proven track record of developing a high volume of new business accounts from scratch.
  • Experience managing existing accounts while also prospecting for new ones.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to maximize margins and close deals.
  • Can-do entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of integrity.
  • Optimistic, persistent, and open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with local and global teams.
  • Experience using CRM and following structured internal processes.
  • A-player mindset and willingness to grow into the role and expand technical knowledge.
