Description

  • Buy and sell scrap and recycled PET (rPET).
  • Develop new suppliers of rPET and new domestic customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships through regular travel and market-facing activity.
  • Work closely with local and global teams across multiple regions.
  • Use sales outreach, including cold calling and market research, to win new clients.
  • Follow internal procedures and policies, including CRM, administration, trial policies, and customer onboarding.
  • Manage existing accounts while simultaneously hunting for new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate with customers to maximize margins and close deals.
  • Contribute to the company’s mission and continue building technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience buying or selling prime or recycled PET.
  • Significant commodity sales experience working on the road.
  • Proven track record of exceeding financial targets.
  • History of developing a high volume of new business accounts from scratch.
  • Experience managing existing accounts while prospecting for new ones.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to maximize margins and close deals.
  • A can-do, entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of integrity.
  • Optimistic, persistent, and open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Willingness to follow internal processes and customer onboarding requirements.
  • Preferred: experience in a highly collaborative, international environment.
