Description

  • Manage client relationships for two medical device brands and build trust through a strong understanding of client business goals.
  • Provide confident counsel on client inquiries and communicate Avalere Health’s capabilities and offerings clearly.
  • Develop fluency in the client’s market, including trends, influencers, competitors, and key stakeholders.
  • Communicate brand business objectives to the agency team through verbal and written updates.
  • Review and provide feedback on strategy, creative, technical, and analytics work, while interpreting client and medical/regulatory/legal feedback for the team.
  • Manage congress and conference materials, email campaigns, social media, video, and digital projects.
  • Support finance and forecasting for assigned accounts.
  • Document scope requests, author project briefs, and write statements of work with input from subject matter experts and delivery teams.
  • Partner with delivery and account leadership to monitor revenue and profit, mitigate risks, and address scope issues with clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities and support account leadership in expanding revenue within assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing client relationships in a pharma agency environment with digital tactics experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical marketing is required, including HCP and/or DTC work.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and project teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing a pharma brand launch in rare disease is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic client counsel and translate client needs into clear agency direction.
  • Ability to work effectively with delivery, account leadership, and subject matter experts.
  • Familiarity with medical device or pharmaceutical brand marketing is an asset.
  • Permanent/full-time availability for a remote role.
  • Located in or open to working from Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Toronto, or Boston.
