Description

  • Manage assigned accounts and territory to drive new business, renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
  • Proactively prospect and engage multiple decision makers to grow the book of business and exceed revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary account contact to strengthen customer loyalty, retention, and long-term relationships.
  • Sell consultatively by aligning solutions to customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead collaboration across internal teams, including Customer Success and Account Executive partners, to develop winning solutions.
  • Close business and move opportunities through the sales cycle to agreement and renewal.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the K-12 education market, including district structures, funding, purchasing, and buying cycles.
  • Build credibility with customers by providing accurate information, delivering on commitments, and sharing market insights.
  • Travel occasionally within North Texas for customer meetings, conferences, and revenue-generating activities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRMs and sales technology such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the K-12 education space, including public, private, and parochial schools, preferred.
  • Understanding of district and school administrative roles, funding, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, and school board oversight preferred.
  • Occasional travel within North Texas required.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

  • Base salary range of $61,800 to $85,000.
  • Total target compensation range of $123,000 to $158,000.
