Description

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise healthcare management systems across backend and front-end layers.
Build and maintain Java and Spring Boot applications and services.
Support Vue applications and contribute to modernization efforts toward React.
Own and deliver features across API and UI layers.
Partner with Product and UI teams on Scheduler and ECAL functionality.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, user interfaces, databases, and server-side components.
Support CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud infrastructure, and AWS CDK environments.
Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams on scalable, maintainable software.
Gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and proactively manage risks and blockers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, architecture discussions, code reviews, automated testing, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong Java expertise.
Advanced proficiency in Java SE, Java EE, and Spring Boot.
Strong full-stack development experience with React and/or Vue.js.
Experience independently delivering features across backend APIs and front-end UI.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, plus AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code experience preferred.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean code, enterprise practices, and legacy Java modernization.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with distributed, cross-functional teams.
Kafka or other event-driven architecture experience and healthcare or HIPAA familiarity preferred.
