Description

  • Own Moongate’s web platforms and establish engineering standards outside iOS.
  • Build reliable, well-tested, and extensible web systems.
  • Maintain and improve checkout, attribution, and web funnel infrastructure.
  • Develop features that enable new monetization and customer acquisition channels.
  • Collaborate with technical founders and teams across marketing, design, and engineering.
  • Make architectural and tooling decisions amid ambiguity and own their outcomes.
  • Help establish and eventually lead Moongate’s web engineering function.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of shipping products and making decisions independently.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution skills.
  • Strong opinions and practical judgment regarding web platforms and tooling.
  • Advanced use of AI coding agents, including appropriate tooling, guardrails, and review judgment.
  • Professional experience building with TypeScript.
  • Experience building backend services with Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud.
  • End-to-end experience implementing payment and checkout flows with Stripe or a similar platform.
  • Experience with native mobile applications preferred.
  • Experience with performance marketing infrastructure, including pixels, server-side event APIs, MMPs, or deferred deep linking preferred.
  • Experience with subscription apps, RevenueCat, paywall testing, or related systems preferred.
