Description

  • Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Coach team members on Agile processes and help maintain consistent application of Agile practices.
  • Maintain and groom the backlog, project artifacts, and documentation to accurately reflect project status.
  • Track delivery progress and provide leadership with concise updates on project health and progress.
  • Execute functional testing of web application features and document defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
  • Build, maintain, and expand automated regression test suites using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
  • Create and maintain automated API test collections using Postman and Rest Assured for microservice and integration validation.
  • Perform accessibility evaluations using automated tools and manual screen reader testing aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.
  • Execute load and performance testing before releases using tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria, support production triage, and improve test strategy and automation frameworks.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of applicable experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Certified Scrum Master certification, equivalent certification, or 2 years of Scrum Master experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, including writing and maintaining test scripts in Java and/or JavaScript.
  • 1+ year of experience with Selenium and/or Playwright for end-to-end browser automation and CI pipeline integration.
  • 1+ year of experience with performance and load testing tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter.
  • Experience creating and maintaining system integration test cases and scenarios.
  • Experience writing BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin and implementing step definitions.
  • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Working knowledge of digital accessibility testing, including WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and automated tools such as aXe, pa11y, WAVE, or ANDI.
  • Experience with manual screen reader testing using JAWS or NVDA.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI, and integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
  • Strong defect documentation and communication skills, including clear bug reports and stakeholder updates.
  • Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube and preferred experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum/SAFe, federal government work, DHS Trusted Tester, ISTQB, IAAP, open-source applications, microservices, container-based deployments, federal identity providers, and Vue.js responsive web applications.
