Description

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Prepare teams for sprint planning by handling ticket review, agenda setting, and Jira cleanup in advance.
  • Maintain backlog health by ensuring work is categorized, sized, structured, and ready for sprint commitment.
  • Apply and reinforce standardized ticket structures, including issue types, field usage, user stories, acceptance criteria, spike criteria, and bug reproduction steps.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate sprint metrics such as velocity, rollover trends, and estimated versus actual effort.
  • Lead root-cause analysis of blockers and rollover, and drive corrective actions from carryover discussions.
  • Identify impediments that cross team boundaries and escalate unresolved issues to the Agile Practice Lead.
  • Build trust and psychological safety so retrospectives are candid and improvement actions are meaningful.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering Leads across multiple teams.
  • Contribute to delivery standards by sharing effective practices and helping create playbooks and templates.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead supporting cross-functional product or technology teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly on teams that may be skeptical, fatigued, or in conflict.
  • Strong Jira skills, including backlog management, workflow configuration, automation, dashboard creation, and reporting.
  • Comfort working across multiple teams at once and adapting to different Agile maturity levels.
  • Diagnostic mindset with the ability to distinguish between team, process, and organizational problems.
  • Enthusiasm for Stand Together's mission and commitment to its values, including transformation, innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.
  • Experience standing up or scaling Agile practices in a maturing organization (preferred).
  • Experience supporting technology, data, or platform teams with cross-team dependencies and technical complexity (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to create durable templates, guides, and operating standards (preferred).
  • Experience working within a structured Agile practice or center of excellence under a practice lead (preferred).
