Description

  • Own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for an assigned Business Line, including headcount planning, demand management, requisition prioritization, and hiring target delivery.
  • Advise Business Line leadership using market intelligence, hiring data, and capacity models to shape the talent roadmap and influence decisions.
  • Define and track hiring goals, service-level agreements, and success metrics, and report progress through dashboards and business reviews.
  • Partner with BizOps, Finance, and Workforce Planning on headcount allocation, budget alignment, hiring sequence, and revenue-driven demand changes.
  • Own hiring progress reporting and serve as the primary escalation point for hiring blockers within the Business Line.
  • Personally lead full-cycle recruiting for the most critical, complex, or sensitive roles, including senior leadership and key technical experts.
  • Set the standard for sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, assessment rigor, and offer closing for the team.
  • Lead major cross-functional hiring initiatives such as batch days, high-volume campaigns, and ramp-to-milestone sprints.
  • Provide direct people leadership to recruiters through performance management, coaching, mentorship, career development, and regular feedback.
  • Manage recruiter allocation, capacity, and performance tracking while fostering a high-performance, data-driven hiring culture.
  • Drive consistency in role intake, interview process, compensation calibration, and candidate experience across the Business Line.
  • Partner with Recruiting Operations on tooling, reporting, and automation improvements and proactively address hiring bottlenecks and process gaps.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with significant ownership of a business unit’s hiring strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence VP-level stakeholders.
  • Proven full-cycle recruiting experience in a complex technical environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect hiring outcomes to program milestones, revenue commitments, and capacity models.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive prioritization, tell leadership a story, and hold teams accountable.
  • Experience leading hiring initiatives beyond individual searches, such as surge campaigns, batch hiring, portfolio prioritization, and capacity planning.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities with sound judgment and minimal oversight.
  • Experience in frontier-tech, defense, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing, including familiarity with clearance requirements, site-based hiring, and program-driven demand (preferred).
  • Direct experience managing or leading a team of recruiters (preferred).
  • Experience partnering with BizOps, Finance, and HR Business Partners on workforce planning, budget alignment, and headcount governance (preferred).
