Description

  • Drive the Connected Warfare go-to-market strategy across Europe and the Middle East.
  • Identify, qualify, shape, and close complex opportunities with allied government and military customers.
  • Generate net-new business while partnering with delivery teams to expand existing contracts.
  • Build a working understanding of regional defence requirements, security constraints, and legacy architectures.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partners, resellers, system integrators, and European primes.
  • Coordinate across programs, engineering, capture, software, finance, partners, and customers to win deals and unblock execution.
  • Maintain Salesforce as the system of record for accounts, contacts, pricing, close dates, and customer activity.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to refine customer solutions and deliver live or static demonstrations.
  • Create tailored client presentations and proposals, including responses to regional contract vehicles and procurement programmes.
  • Translate regional mission needs, sovereign cloud requirements, and degraded-network realities into product roadmap feedback.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in defence, dual-use, or enterprise networking sales, including at least 5 years closing business with European government and military customers.
  • A documented track record of identifying, qualifying, shaping, and closing complex deals with European MoDs, NATO bodies, or coalition partners.
  • Deep familiarity with European defence procurement cycles, budgeting, and sovereign security frameworks.
  • Ability to quickly master technical concepts such as mesh networking, edge compute, C2, and cloud architecture and brief senior leaders credibly.
  • Experience standing up a regional pipeline, country, or business line from scratch in a greenfield environment.
  • Experience operating effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborating across business, engineering, capture, and corporate functions.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing a regional channel of resellers, system integrators, and prime partnerships.
  • Strong command of capture management or an equivalent enterprise sales pursuit methodology.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
  • Native or fluent English; a second European language (Dutch, German, French) or Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe and the Middle East.
  • Right to work in the EU and eligibility to obtain and maintain EU and/or NATO-level security clearances.
  • Prior operational or industry experience in C4ISR, JADC2, or tactical communications is preferred.
  • An established network within European military headquarters, defence procurement agencies, or European defence primes is preferred.
  • Experience supporting export-controlled programs and navigating sovereign data residency or cloud hosting regulations is preferred.
  • Experience standing up a new sales region for a defence-tech or enterprise networking company is preferred.
