Description

  • Generate and capture business opportunities for the Surface Platform portfolio.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage ongoing engagements with current clients and prospective customers.
  • Monitor buying cycles and identify opportunities to support revenue growth.
  • Author, review, and support responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFWPs, and other requests.
  • Support growth and capture teams in closing new business.
  • Partner with adjacent business lines and product engineers to expand existing customer relationships and identify new growth areas.
  • Communicate Anduril’s value proposition to clients, partners, competitors, and the public.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the engineering organization to translate needs into actionable plans and product roadmaps.
  • Inform and manage priorities, execution, and milestone alignment across business line stakeholders.
  • Support the development of business capture strategies and engage with U.S. Navy customers.

Requirements

  • Proven development and growth leader with experience building, executing, and winning business capture strategies, especially with the U.S. Navy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of defense acquisitions and zero-to-one defense program growth.
  • Experience with the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of autonomous systems, surface platforms, and payload integration.
  • High-energy, high-ownership leadership style with strong management skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, creative environment and implement innovative approaches to market.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including experience briefing senior executives and customers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD / IC / Commercial programs, platforms, payloads, enabling technologies, systems integration, and software development.
  • Ability to travel 20-50%.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it.
  • Preferred: expertise in Surface Warfare, Distributed Maritime Operations, or complex engineering systems.
  • Preferred: advanced degree.
  • Preferred: prior military, contracting, DoD, or government experience.
  • Preferred: experience with government business development, contract structures, and proposal processes.
  • Preferred: eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
