Description

  • Build AI agents and automations for sourcing, screening, outreach, scheduling, candidate research, pipeline operations, and reporting.
  • Own the AI and automation roadmap for Talent Acquisition end to end, including prioritization, sequencing, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with Corporate Technology to design solutions that align with company AI tooling, infrastructure, security, and roadmap.
  • Evaluate where AI and automation can create value across the recruiting funnel and surface new high-leverage opportunities.
  • Lead build-vs.-buy assessments for vendors, internal platforms, and custom solutions based on scalability, cost, safety, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Ship fast, pragmatic solutions for both strategically prioritized initiatives and ad hoc team needs.
  • Partner with TA Enablement to drive AI literacy through training, documentation, prompt patterns, guardrails, and best practices.
  • Own the safety, compliance, and governance of AI systems, including PII handling, access controls, audit trails, model risk, data residency, and ITAR/CUI considerations.
  • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, time saved, quality, error rates, and cost per outcome, and retire solutions that are not working.
  • Establish lightweight engineering practices such as version control, testing, evals, deployment, and monitoring to make AI work durable.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on technical experience building production software, including 1–2+ years focused on applied AI or LLM-based systems.
  • Curiosity about recruiting or Talent Acquisition, with willingness to learn recruiter workflows and build for operational needs.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, integrations, version control, testing, CI/CD, infrastructure, and deployment.
  • Production experience building AI agents or LLM-driven automations for a growing team of 250+ people.
  • Experience integrating with SaaS APIs and connecting workflows across multiple tools, including auth, rate limits, pagination, and webhooks.
  • Ability to identify high-leverage opportunities, ship working systems, and quantify impact.
  • Strong build-vs.-buy judgment and ability to evaluate scalability, cost, safety, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Comfort owning a roadmap end to end and communicating clearly with non-technical leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating operational pain into technical scope.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Prior experience embedded in or partnering with Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, or People teams as the primary technical owner of AI/automation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the recruiting stack, such as Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, and scheduling tools (preferred).
  • Experience designing AI literacy programs, enablement, or hands-on training for non-technical users (preferred).
  • Background in a regulated industry such as defense, aerospace, financial services, or healthcare (preferred).
  • Track record of retiring or replacing systems after shipping them, with strong judgment about when to kill, iterate, or build (preferred).
