Description

  • Own renewals end-to-end, including strategy, forecasting, timing, and execution.
  • Identify customer risk early and drive mitigation plans with internal partners.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, disciplined account plans, and clear next steps.
  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities by building conviction around value and business outcomes.
  • Partner with Account Executives to execute upsell motions within existing clients.
  • Increase product adoption by aligning AlphaSense to client workflows and priorities.
  • Ensure AlphaSense delivers sustained value throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Lead focused executive conversations and business reviews with customer stakeholders.
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across users, decision-makers, and executive sponsors.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, RevOps, and Support to execute account strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a book of enterprise or high-value accounts in a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Strong business judgment and comfort operating in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.
  • Understanding of Financial Services clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, investment banks, or similar firms.
  • Experience with SaaS account management, including renewals, forecasting, usage-based value, and metrics-driven execution.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and guide conversations toward decisions.
  • Structured, proactive approach to prioritizing competing demands and managing risk.
  • Strong ownership mindset with full accountability for retention and renewals.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, customer success, product, operations, or support (preferred).
  • Base compensation range of $100,000-$120,000 USD.
  • Ability to work in NYC preferred, with Boston/Chicago or remote also considered.
