Description

  • Manage assigned territory and own revenue growth through prospecting, renewals, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.
  • Drive new business and manage opportunity progression by engaging multiple decision makers and internal/external networks.
  • Grow the assigned book of business to exceed revenue goals.
  • Sell solutions through a consultative approach aligned to customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Lead coordination across account teams, Customer Success partners, and Account Executive team members to develop winning solutions.
  • Serve as the primary account contact for customers and strengthen customer loyalty and retention.
  • Maintain high product renewal rates and identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Build credibility through accurate information, product knowledge, and proactive market insights.
  • Travel occasionally within North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska for customer meetings, conferences, and other revenue-generating activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of prior sales experience.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales technology such as Salesforce and MS Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Experience in education sales is preferred.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and creative problem-solving is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 education space, including public, private, and parochial schools, is preferred.
  • Understanding of K-12 district structures, funding, purchasing processes, buying cycles, policies, practices, trends, and school board oversight is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $51,100 to $70,300.
  • Total target compensation range of $102,000 to $140,000.
