Description

  • Lead cloud transformation, modernization, automation, and managed services engagements from delivery through completion.
  • Design and implement enterprise-scale solutions across public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Build client relationships and support growth opportunities through solution innovation and technical leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business and technical needs and develop tailored cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering solutions.
  • Develop and present solution architectures, technical strategies, roadmaps, and executive-level presentations.
  • Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, and strategic planning discussions with customers.
  • Provide estimation, resource planning, risk mitigation, and technical oversight across the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop engineers through guidance, career support, and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native architecture, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and modernization practices.
  • Ensure security, compliance, operational excellence, reliability, and performance standards are met across engagements.
  • Lead triage, diagnosis, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical P1/P2 incidents, including customer-facing post-mortems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT industry experience, including 8+ years in cloud, DevOps, automation, and platform engineering.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • 4+ years designing, securing, and deploying large-scale applications and solutions.
  • Strong expertise in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure across architecture, operations, governance, security, and cost optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with core cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM, containers, and security.
  • Experience leading cloud migration, cloud transformation, platform engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, and application modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or equivalent.
  • Experience with CI/CD and deployment tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and cloud-native application architectures.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and continuous delivery frameworks.
  • Experience resolving critical incidents in large-scale environments, including SLA-driven support and RCA.
  • Familiarity with ITIL-style problem management and blameless post-mortems.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and whiteboarding sessions with customers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with AI/ML and Generative AI concepts, with exposure to AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, Comprehend, Textract, or Lex being an advantage.
  • Ability to support AI/ML workloads on cloud infrastructure, including GPU-enabled environments, is an added advantage.
  • Recognized subject matter expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Ability to work with outside vendors, contribute to pre-sales, and travel as required.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, AWS SysOps Administrator Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Terraform Associate, CKA, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, and Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
