Description

  • Maintain and improve cloud cost allocation, chargeback models, budgets, and cost alerts across cloud accounts.
  • Implement and enforce tagging and resource hierarchy standards for cost-critical resources.
  • Develop and publish cost visibility dashboards and reports using Power BI, native cloud tools, or FinOps platforms.
  • Support unified cost reporting across AWS, Azure, and GCP for engineering and finance stakeholders.
  • Execute rightsizing and scheduling of cloud resources across AWS and Azure services.
  • Manage Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Hybrid Benefits to improve cost efficiency.
  • Assist with policy-as-code, automation, anomaly detection, spend forecasting, and automated remediation workflows.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure automation, and GitOps practices.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, SRE, and Platform teams on budgeting, forecasting, billing validation, reliability, and security.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions with third-party tools and support engagements, demos, meetings, and incident response.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
  • 3+ years designing, securing, and deploying large-scale cloud applications and solutions.
  • 1–2 years of FinOps or cloud cost optimization experience, preferably in AWS.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cost management, including tagging, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience with Power BI, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Amazon CloudWatch, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.
  • Architect-level development skills in Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar languages.
  • SME-level experience in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including VPCs/VNets, subnets, route tables, security groups/NSGs, load balancers, VPNs, and routing.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, and other native services.
  • Experience with multi-account AWS environments, including Organizations, Control Tower, SCPs, Landing Zones, and Guardrails.
  • Experience with DevOps platforms such as Bitbucket (preferred), GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with security, governance, CSPM, remediation workflows, secrets management, monitoring, observability, and container security tools.
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or HITRUST.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and support after-hours or weekend work during major incidents or client change windows.
