Description

  • Design, deploy, and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including lifecycle management, upgrades, networking, autoscaling, security, and workloads.
  • Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using tools such as Argo CD or Flux, with Git as the source of truth.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and establish image-building, scanning, and publishing standards.
  • Develop and maintain Helm charts for consistent application releases across environments.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and security checks.
  • Automate Azure infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible using reusable, versioned modules.
  • Design and manage scalable, secure, and performant Azure infrastructure in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Implement observability through metrics, logs, alerting, and monitoring of performance, utilization, and costs.
  • Apply cloud security controls including RBAC, secrets management, network policies, and supply-chain security.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies, troubleshoot issues, and support high availability across Linux and Windows environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing cloud environments, preferably Azure.
  • Production experience with Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
  • Strong Git, version-control, and GitOps experience, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills; Bash or Python experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of networking, cloud security, and cloud-native architecture best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Proficient English communication; preferred qualifications include Kubernetes or Azure certifications, Argo CD/Flux, Kustomize, observability tools, DevSecOps, RabbitMQ, and Redis experience.
