Description

  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
  • Own complex technical issues through resolution, including root-cause analysis, documentation, and long-term remediation.
  • Provide expert support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, and Azure infrastructure.
  • Plan and deliver customer infrastructure projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations, Azure deployments, server upgrades, security improvements, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Mentor engineers, build service desk capability, and improve technical knowledge and confidence.
  • Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal technical standards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve technical operations and service quality.

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 and hands-on experience with Azure.
  • Experience with Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Defender, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Secure Score.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking, VPN technologies, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong PowerShell skills.
  • Experience managing Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, files, backup, identity, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience delivering cloud, infrastructure, migration, security, and modernization projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical decision-making, communication, and ownership skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and working in a fast-paced managed services environment.
  • Preferred experience with Datto RMM/EDR, RocketCyber, Cisco Meraki, Cloudflare, Microsoft Purview, IT Glue, Autotask PSA, and Microsoft Copilot.
