Description

  • Create and validate quotes in CCW-R, work in PXP, and open cases in CS Hub for Cisco SMARTnet renewals.
  • Quote complex renewals and use industry knowledge to maximize margin in competitive situations.
  • Manage the transaction lifecycle from quote to cash, coordinating internal support resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently with maintenance vendors to resolve questions and issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Assist Account Managers in structuring deals and preparing customer pricing and proposals for maintenance renewals.
  • Develop vendor relationships to improve communication, discounts, and turnaround times on special pricing and registration requests.
  • Provide value-add services to maintenance customers, including SN# swaps, site or address changes, maintenance schedules, and contract summary reports.
  • Receive, track, import, and error-check renewal data in the renewal database.
  • Proactively quote upcoming renewals and provide visibility into current-quarter renewal opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance support experience preferred, ideally in the technology industry.
  • History of working in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate needs and understand Cisco acronyms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision and under pressure.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, including the ability to calculate margin percentages using cost+, list-, and flat GPM% models.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred.
  • Open to various backgrounds, with an independent self-starter mindset, creative problem-solving ability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
