Description

  • Serve as the trusted deal partner for complex, high-value enterprise opportunities from structuring and quoting through approvals and signature.
  • Structure contracts and licensing for large enterprise customers using consumption-based, multi-year, ramped, co-sell, and marketplace commercial models.
  • Own the quote-to-contract process, ensuring accuracy, approval compliance, and urgent deal progression through quarter-end and year-end cycles.
  • Partner across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Revenue Operations to align on pricing, terms, and deal optimization.
  • Design and mature Deal Desk processes, approval matrices, and playbooks into scalable and repeatable operating systems.
  • Optimize CRM, CPQ, CLM, and approval workflow tooling with Revenue Operations to reduce manual work and cycle time.
  • Use automation, AI, and clean data to identify gaps and improve deal velocity, quote accuracy, and margin protection.
  • Translate sales and customer feedback into process improvements and define standard practices as deal volume grows.
  • Protect pricing integrity and margin while enabling reps to move deals forward quickly and predictably.
  • Build sales enablement guidance and documentation that supports future team growth and scalable Deal Desk operations.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, revenue operations, enterprise sales, contracts/commercial, or a comparable role, or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise deal components, including pricing, discounting, commercial structure, and core legal concepts such as MSAs, order forms, redlines, liability, and renewal terms.
  • Proven ability to close deals with strong organization, diligence, calm execution under quarter-end pressure, and a bias for action.
  • A builder’s mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and improve processes and systems.
  • Comfort working in SaaS and enterprise environments with large organizations and their procurement, security, and legal teams.
  • Fluency with CRM and deal tools such as Salesforce, plus an interest in using automation and AI to scale.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence without authority, with confidence in partnering with Sales.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first, ownership-driven work style.
  • Flexibility to work across global markets, time zones, customer processes, and functional disciplines.
  • Ability to explain business priorities to internal and external stakeholders while influencing deal structure and terms.
  • Commitment to compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and good business practices.
  • Preferred: experience with consumption/usage-based pricing or open-source commercial models.
  • Preferred: background in data, analytics, AI, or developer/infrastructure platforms.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with CPQ and CLM platforms and approval automation.
  • Preferred: familiarity with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and channel/co-sell motions.
  • Preferred: experience building or scaling a Deal Desk function from the ground up.
