Description

  • Lead unit and characterization test creation to validate ported C++ business logic against legacy behavior.
  • Design and implement a Golden Master testing strategy to ensure functional parity.
  • Build and maintain test automation, quality assurance, and UAT support activities.
  • Integrate testing workflows and deliverables into CI/CD pipelines with strict quality gates.
  • Validate performance and non-functional requirements, including throughput, latency, and regression thresholds.
  • Conduct technical validation of IPC behavior, cache operations, and node manager state transitions.
  • Profile performance and troubleshoot issues through debugging and log analysis.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support modernization testing efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience in testing strategies, methodologies, and automation.
  • Automated testing experience for both Java and C++ codebases.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, targeting Java 21, and experience with high-availability/high-performance systems.
  • Deep experience with Golden Master testing and characterization test creation.
  • Experience implementing AI-assisted test generation and performance profiling/testing.
  • Ability to understand and validate telecom protocols such as SS7 and Diameter.
  • Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and establishing performance baselines.
  • Solid debugging skills, including analyzing log files and spotting patterns.
  • Experience with JIRA, Notion, git, and automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins is an advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-led SDLC tooling such as Claude Code is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-native testing, including chaos engineering and Kubernetes health probes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and ClickHouse is a plus.
  • Background in testing Redis replication, conflict resolution, Kafka partitioning, or Spread IPC is a plus.
