Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test scripts using Playwright and/or Selenium with Python.
  • Build and maintain a scalable test automation framework using patterns such as Page Object Model.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend functionality.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution using tools such as JIRA.
  • Analyze test results, debug failures, and improve test stability.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategy and coverage.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation coverage reports.
  • Contribute to code reviews and automation framework improvements.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Python for test scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with API testing tools or libraries such as Postman, requests, or REST Assured.
  • Strong understanding of test design techniques such as boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Experience with pytest or unittest frameworks (preferred).
  • Exposure to Docker or containerized test environments (preferred).
  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave, pytest-bdd, or Cucumber (preferred).
  • ISTQB certification (preferred).
  • Basic SQL and database validation experience (preferred).
