Description

  • Manage a full SLED territory across state, local government, K-12, and higher education accounts.
  • Protect and expand existing ZeroFox ARR through renewals and account growth.
  • Generate net new pipeline across underpenetrated and unapproached accounts.
  • Work both state contract vehicles and cold outreach sequences to develop opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with state CISOs, county and municipal IT and security teams, university security operations, and public school districts.
  • Navigate government and education procurement processes to move deals forward.
  • Balance farming existing accounts with hunting for new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and consistent CRM updates.
  • Work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of closing new business and managing renewals in state, local, or education accounts.
  • Direct experience selling into SLED, including state agencies, municipal governments, county offices, K-12 districts, or universities.
  • Fluency in SLED procurement, including NASPO, OMNIA Partners, state-specific co-ops, budget cycles, and government purchasing processes.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions, threat intelligence, digital risk protection, endpoint security, or adjacent platforms preferred.
  • Existing relationships with resellers, distributors, or systems integrators active in the SLED market.
  • Prior experience managing a book of business that requires both pipeline generation and proactive renewal management.
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Strong forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Existing relationships in the SLED market are highly valued.
