Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s cloud management platform, support and services, and customer needs.
  • Own customer context and communication with vendor teams to surface value and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Manage customer support escalations through resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders while balancing customer, vendor, and company interests.
  • Identify new workload opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain a regular cadence with the full portfolio of customers across the book of business.
  • Aggregate customer feedback and share it with product and engineering teams to inform priorities and development cycles.
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews covering project timelines, projected cloud spend, and support/engagement feedback.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key cloud providers to align on customer engagements.
  • Work with cloud vendor sales representatives on mutual customers and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management supporting the EMEA market.
  • 3+ years of experience at a technology company such as a SaaS, SI, or cloud vendor.
  • Experience supporting customers in the AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure ecosystem, or another cloud vendor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Additional language skills such as Italian or French are preferred.
  • Strong technical skills to work productively with technical teams and build influential relationships.
  • Strong operational and administrative skills with an analytical, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to think from the big picture down to the details and back again.
  • Desire to grow within the organization and continuously broaden skill sets.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader are a bonus.
