Description

  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiations, and closing complex technical deals.
  • Consistently meet and exceed quota and pipeline targets.
  • Develop and execute a regional strategy to identify high-growth opportunities and untapped markets.
  • Build relationships with AWS Sales Leaders and Partner Managers to co-sell and maximize market share.
  • Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and Solutions Architects to solve technical challenges for prospects.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce and ensure proposals reflect the company brand.
  • Guide customers from initial interest through contract execution and a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Work with Marketing and BDR teams to support demand generation campaigns and analyze results.
  • Travel 30-50% to meet customers, AWS teams, and attend industry events.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of full sales cycle experience, preferably in a new business-focused role in the technology industry.
  • Experience selling cloud services and understanding consumption-based models.
  • A consistent record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
  • Strong technical understanding of the cloud computing market and AWS products.
  • Ability to build influential relationships in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Fluency in at least one Central and Eastern European language such as Czech, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, or Greek.
  • Preferred: regional network and relationships with startups, VC, and technology communities.
  • Preferred: proven experience selling AWS cloud products or services.
  • Preferred: cloud certifications.
