Description

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities to expand NRI’s footprint within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft account teams and strategic manufacturing partners.
  • Partner with Microsoft and other internal NRI resources during the sales process for major accounts.
  • Qualify sales opportunities, set customer expectations, and lead negotiations through to close.
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand business requirements and recommend high-level solutions.
  • Direct the sales process across Sales Engineers, Deployment, and Project Managers as needed.
  • Source opportunities, conduct outreach to prospects by email and phone, and schedule client meetings.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations of products and services to prospective customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training to improve performance and build departmental expertise.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and serve as the liaison between partners and NRI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Previous Microsoft sales experience preferred, including knowledge of Office 365, EMS, and Azure.
  • Experience positioning and closing professional services opportunities.
  • Experience with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM application.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple requests concurrently.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, deliverables, and pricing preferred.
  • Ability to present complex technology in a way non-technical audiences can understand.
  • Experience having high-level conversations with C-level executives preferred.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and the business benefits it provides.
  • Closed at least 5 seven-figure contracts with new accounts preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals preferred.
  • Experience in information technology and services preferred.
