Description

  • Own the full sales cycle for gaming ad sales accounts across China and APAC, from prospecting and outreach through negotiation and close.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with game developers, publishers, and advertising agencies.
  • Develop new business opportunities through existing networks, industry events, and targeted account outreach.
  • Create tailored account plans and pitch materials aligned with client goals and Xsolla's ad monetization products.
  • Collaborate with global product, marketing, and partner success teams to deliver client campaigns and achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with regular reporting, insights, and optimization recommendations in Mandarin and English.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and account records in Salesforce.
  • Represent Xsolla at gaming and ad tech conferences and trade events across China and APAC.
  • Provide market intelligence on advertiser trends, competitors, platform changes, and emerging opportunities in the region.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, ad tech, gaming monetization, or a closely related field within the Chinese market.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a full sales cycle.
  • Experience navigating China's relationship-driven, guanxi-based enterprise sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of performance advertising models such as CPI, CPA, and CPM.
  • Familiarity with the mobile gaming ecosystem and major China market players such as Tencent, NetEase, miHoYo, ByteDance/TikTok, Bilibili, Kuaishou, and Baidu.
  • Native or business-level Mandarin Chinese proficiency and strong working English proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with understanding of Chinese business culture and enterprise decision-making dynamics.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, with Salesforce preferred, plus standard sales tools and platforms such as WeChat and DingTalk.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts in a rapidly changing regulatory and platform environment.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Beijing, China, and eligible to work in China without visa sponsorship.
  • Experience with offerwall, rewarded video, or user acquisition advertising products in Chinese mobile gaming (preferred).
  • An established network within China's games industry, including publishers, studios, ad agencies, or platform partners such as WeChat Mini Games, Douyin, Kuaishou, Huawei AppGallery, or TapTap (preferred).
  • Familiarity with mobile game monetization metrics such as ARPU, LTV, ROAS, D7/D30 retention, and China-specific monetization trends such as gacha, battle pass, and live-service models (preferred).
