Description

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
  • Support customer engagement through onsite visits and direct interaction when needed.
  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve manufacturing challenges, including DFM issues.
  • Track upcoming customer projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with Xometry’s capabilities.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to inform sales strategy.
  • Assist Pre-Sales Engineering with knowledge gathering and the preparation of accurate, competitive quotes.
  • Combine customer, partner, and internal system knowledge to respond quickly to customer needs and move projects toward delivery.
  • Provide project management and oversight for complex opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Experience using Xometry’s services from a customer perspective; partner perspective is a bonus.
  • Deep familiarity with the methods, materials, culture, and products of major aerospace and defense organizations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong experience in CNC machining; experience with composites, plastics, harnesses, and sheet metal fabrication is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100D, ITAR, NIST, and other compliance and certification requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, including in remote and digital environments.
  • Ability to travel to customer and/or partner sites as needed, typically 25%–35%.
  • Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
