Description

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and align long-term business goals with Celonis’ technical vision.
  • Lead data, cloud, and innovation strategy for large global accounts using capability mapping to identify high-value opportunities.
  • Architect first-of-a-kind solutions using emergent technologies such as Agentic AI to address complex enterprise challenges.
  • Partner with Sales and Value Engineering to drive new customer acquisition and strategic upselling.
  • Act as a feedback loop between Product and Engineering teams and the market to shape future offerings.
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing position papers, assets, and presentations that position Celonis as a leader in architecture and innovation.
  • Translate complex business transformations into scalable technical strategies for strategic prospects and customers.
  • Support executive-level conversations by connecting technical architecture decisions to business value.
  • Move between high-level architecture discussions and hands-on demos as needed.

Requirements

  • 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in a related technical leadership role.
  • Prior experience as a CTO at a consulting firm, Field CTO at a software vendor, or Director/VP of Enterprise Architecture at a large company.
  • Proven ability to present complex technical visions to C-suite stakeholders in terms of business value.
  • Deep experience in Enterprise Modernization, EA methodologies, and Agentic AI.
  • Strong background in data architecture, API ecosystems, and cloud-native SaaS solutions such as Salesforce and ServiceNow.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP, or equivalent domain expertise in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services.
  • MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT-related field.
  • Preferred: experience with Celonis, OCPM, and case-centric data pipelines.
  • Preferred: certifications in TOGAF/Zachman, AWS/Azure/GCP, or ESB/ETL tools such as MuleSoft and Informatica.
  • Preferred: experience across at least two domains and two industries, such as Finance, Supply Chain, Pharma, Banking, or Aerospace.
  • Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
