Description

  • Analyze CAD models and technical drawings to assess manufacturability.
  • Calculate manufacturing costs including materials, machining hours, and post-processing.
  • Provide manufacturing process recommendations and DFM feedback where needed.
  • Document calculations and transfer them to the Sales and Commercial team.
  • Review 3D models and 2D drawings for quoting and manufacturability support.
  • Organize RFQs and clarify technical details with Sales and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain quote databases and ensure timely updates.
  • Deliver accurate quotes quickly, ideally within 1–2 working hours.
  • Support process automation initiatives and workflow optimization.

Requirements

  • Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.
  • Expert knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, including turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser/waterjet/plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, and welding.
  • Understanding of post-processing methods such as polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sand/shot blasting, coatings, and painting.
  • Knowledge of metals, plastics, and composites, including their processing properties.
  • English level B2+.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and ability to clearly explain technical details.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
  • Comfort using modern tools and software such as CAD/CAM, CRM, and cloud systems.
  • Technical drawing interpretation proficiency expected at 5/5; CAM programming experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or CypCut is preferred at 3/5 with readiness for further training.
