Description

  • Sell Xometry solutions to aerospace and defense companies.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs from prototype through production requirements.
  • Build relationships with engineering, program management, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
  • Create strategic account plans and roadmaps.
  • Set up sales calls and presentations for executives and engineers with prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads and convert opportunities into closed business.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM or sales management system.
  • Propose winning solutions and negotiate contract terms.
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentoring programs.
  • Work in compliance with Xometry quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying closing sales role.
  • 2+ years of experience selling into aerospace and defense companies.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time.
  • High proficiency with virtual meetings and customer presentations.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting.
  • CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Experience with strategic sales planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
