Description

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex machine learning and AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Define ML architecture standards, development patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Drive technical strategy and technology selection decisions across AI initiatives.
  • Design and oversee data preparation, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
  • Build and deploy production-grade ML models using modern frameworks and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, MLOps Engineers, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive CI/CD, observability, model lifecycle management, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and capability building for AI/ML teams.
  • Lead AI governance and AI Act compliance, including risk classification, documentation, logging, and audit readiness.
  • Troubleshoot production systems and ensure the maintainability and sustainability of AI solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning or AI Engineering.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow and scikit-learn.
  • Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Strong knowledge of model evaluation, experimentation, performance monitoring, and ML lifecycle management.
  • Experience with MLflow or similar platforms and MLOps/CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with cloud ML platforms; Azure ML preferred, with Vertex AI or AWS SageMaker also accepted.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data and cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, model documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Work authorization and residence in the European Union.
  • Experience with GenAI, LLM applications, vector databases, embeddings, RAG, document intelligence, OCR, or Azure OpenAI preferred.
  • Experience with deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, rolling, or shadow deployments preferred.
