Description

  • Define and execute the machine learning roadmap with engineering and product leadership.
  • Design and own high-scale systems for interaction prediction, candidate ranking, and job retrieval.
  • Develop solutions for real-time intent prediction, bilateral relevance, cold-start challenges, and marketplace feedback loops.
  • Mentor Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists across the organization.
  • Own models end to end, from exploration and feature engineering through distributed training, A/B testing, and latency optimization.
  • Establish best practices for building, deploying, and evaluating machine learning systems at scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in large-scale production environments.
  • Track record of architecting and shipping end-to-end ML solutions serving production traffic at scale.
  • Expertise in recommendation systems, personalization, ranking and retrieval, or interaction prediction.
  • Strong software engineering skills with hands-on experience in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentorship across engineering and product teams.
  • Strong background in statistical modeling, A/B testing methodology, and offline metric design.
  • Experience with two-sided marketplaces, bilateral matching, dynamic pricing, or auction-based models (preferred).
  • Experience with Two-Tower Neural Networks, Graph Neural Networks, Transformer-based retrieval models, or Contextual Bandits (preferred).
  • Advanced degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Experience with modern MLOps architectures and distributed training frameworks (preferred).
