Description

  • Define and own the vision and strategy for Workato’s connectivity platform and related extensions.
  • Own the enterprise connectivity roadmap end to end, balancing customer demand, competitive positioning, and long-term investment.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics and customer needs across the integration landscape, including the impact of AI on connectivity platforms.
  • Maintain roadmap alignment with engineering, sales, and customer success to support prioritization and delivery.
  • Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks by improving processes, clarifying ownership, and removing blockers.
  • Lead product launches end to end, including internal enablement and customer adoption.
  • Shape the team’s portfolio structure and ownership model to ensure coverage across a broad product surface.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop product management talent across different seniority levels.
  • Drive the team’s adoption of AI tools in day-to-day product development.
  • Define and track KPIs and metrics for connector adoption, usage, customer satisfaction, performance, and reliability.
  • Establish the team’s operating rhythm through prioritization cycles, reviews, and progress reporting.
  • Engage with enterprise customers, prospects, and partners to understand integration use cases and expectations.
  • Represent enterprise connectivity capabilities in customer briefings, industry conferences, and analyst discussions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience with a focus on integration, connectors, APIs, or enterprise platforms.
  • At least 3 years in a senior product leadership role such as Group PM or Director.
  • Experience managing teams of varying seniority and knowing when to provide close guidance versus autonomy.
  • Proven experience building and scaling connector or integration products at SaaS/cloud companies or integration providers such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Zapier, Fivetran, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
  • Strong familiarity with cloud integration patterns, connector architectures, and API standards including REST, SOAP, OData, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with event-driven and messaging patterns such as webhooks, event streaming, and CDC.
  • Deep knowledge of the SaaS/cloud ecosystem and common business applications such as CRM, ERP, HR, and ITSM.
  • Familiarity with platform extension domains such as RPA, EDI, or MFT is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering on complex platform architecture and system design decisions.
  • Track record of successful product launches, customer adoption, and measurable market impact.
  • Practical experience building AI-powered product capabilities, including AI-assisted integrations, automated connector creation, or generative AI features.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and driving clarity through ambiguity.
