Description

  • Create product roadmaps using usability studies, voice-of-customer research, competitive analysis, and engineering collaboration.
  • Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents and Market Requirement Documents.
  • Develop business cases and own financial plans for assigned products and portfolios.
  • Author detailed product requirements for engineering teams and OEM/ODM partners.
  • Present product vision through demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with rollout strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor financial and quality metrics to improve product performance and capabilities.
  • Track competitive developments and technology trends.
  • Manage tradeshows and lead selling activities for product lines.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, including whole-product methodologies and product marketing.
  • Working knowledge of AV system design, particularly installed video systems using AV-over-IP technology.
  • Experience with AV-over-IP video products, technologies, and systems.
  • Experience working in agile development and high-throughput product development environments.
  • Strong technical leadership, product vision, collaboration, research, networking, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing OEM/ODM relationships (preferred).
  • Demonstrable AV system design skills, certifications, or knowledge of Q-SYS, Crestron, Visionary Solutions, or similar AV-over-IP systems.
  • AIPMM certification (preferred).
  • Prior technical AV sales experience with an integrator, manufacturer, or representative firm (preferred).
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
