Description

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value VIP clients and lead kick-off calls to understand business goals and define measurable outreach outcomes.
  • Co-own strategy, planning, and performance discussions for key accounts with the Senior Account Director and clients.
  • Track campaign performance against benchmarks such as open rates, reply rates, meetings booked, and pipeline generated, then adjust strategy to improve results.
  • Serve as a senior coach and advisor to junior and mid-level Account Managers, sharing best practices and supporting their development.
  • Assist with training new Account Managers and help them ramp quickly into their roles.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic reviews when needed to ensure continuity and clear communication.
  • Execute and optimize B2B email outreach campaigns, including drafting/reviewing copy, sourcing and validating lead data, and identifying new targeting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align client strategy and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Use AI tools daily to create campaign assets, ad copy, creative concepts, lead enrichment, and strategic briefs efficiently.
  • Handle difficult client conversations, underperforming campaigns, and complex account challenges with a solution-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Account Management, Digital Marketing, or Client Strategy, with a strong preference for agency or SaaS backgrounds.
  • Proven experience managing and growing high-value or VIP client portfolios with impact on retention, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
  • Leadership or mentorship experience with the ability to guide Account Managers in strategy, outreach performance, and problem-solving.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for complex client challenges.
  • Deep experience building, managing, and optimizing B2B email outreach campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with outbound and lead generation tools such as PersistIQ, Apollo, Clay, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms.
  • Extensive professional experience using AI tools for messaging, campaign optimization, lead enrichment, and workflow efficiency.
  • Background in roles measured on client retention, revenue growth, and strategic account development.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple high-impact client relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written; knowledge of a second language is considered an asset.
  • Ability to provide a personal workstation, computer, headset, and fast, reliable internet connection.
  • Availability to work standard business hours in either the Eastern or Pacific Time Zone.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks, including employment reference, criminal record, and credit checks.
  • Ability to provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residential address during onboarding.
