Description

  • Perform copy-editing tasks on assigned projects and accounts.
  • Complete on-demand translation tasks.
  • Provide lead support on assigned projects or accounts.
  • Manage and maintain language assets such as glossaries, style guides, and work instructions.
  • Handle project-related queries and resolve terminology and language questions.
  • Coordinate with freelance linguists and partner agencies to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Train and support internal linguists and external partners based on account and company needs.
  • Interact with clients on linguistic matters as needed.
  • Participate in developing new and improved working processes.
  • Meet or exceed productivity, on-time delivery, and quality KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistics, or a related field, or a bachelor’s in another discipline plus 2+ years of full-time translation experience, or 5+ years of full-time professional translation experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Native fluency in Latin American Spanish.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, with strong command across multiple registers.
  • 4+ years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing.
  • 2+ years of review experience.
  • Thorough understanding of localization processes.
  • Experience using standard software such as Windows and Office applications.
  • Solid working proficiency with CAT tools such as XTM and Trados Studio, and issue tracking/query management platforms such as Jira.
  • Ability to quickly learn new localization tools and applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
