Description

  • Develop new content and maintain existing content for Becker’s tax products and courses.
  • Expand the CPE tax curriculum through updates to existing content and creation of new products and courses.
  • Track developments in the tax profession and plan content updates based on current events and new pronouncements.
  • Write and review assessment content such as multiple-choice questions, simulations, and essays.
  • Monitor course content development and report progress regularly to management.
  • Provide guidance to production teams on content design, including tables, graphics, and images.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and respond to content-related inquiries.
  • Review course content developed by subject matter experts and coordinate their project timelines.
  • Train subject matter experts on course templates and learning platforms.
  • Apply instructional design principles and Becker’s proprietary templates to new and existing content.
  • Maintain current references on tax law changes and authoritative literature to keep course content accurate.
  • Review and critique the Becker learning platform and other learning tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, and/or accounting preferred.
  • CPA and/or CMA credential required; CPA or dual CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Master’s degree with 2+ years of content development experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of expertise in taxation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational and resource management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat skills.
  • Experience with project management tracking tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams.
