Description

  • Develop clinical competencies for staff across the organization.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate orientation and continuing education programs for new and existing personnel.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, skills, and educational standards across branch and field teams.
  • Create and facilitate workshops, in-services, and other ongoing learning experiences for staff.
  • Focus education efforts on PDGM and HVVBP requirements.
  • Assess staff learning needs and competency to support performance, quality of care, and accreditation compliance.
  • Develop curriculum and provide precepting support as needed.
  • Analyze utilization, outcomes, and quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations, Performance Improvement, Compliance, Service Operations, and branch leaders to align training with current standards and regulations.
  • Support quality improvement outcomes, STAR ratings, and best-practice implementation for home care and hospice.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed or registered as a professional in the state of California.
  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Recent clinical experience in hospice care.
  • Working knowledge of HCHB (EMR) is required.
  • Knowledge of state and federal hospice regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate via electronic systems and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Travel required based on business needs, including monthly travel to branch locations throughout the U.S.
  • Experience with SHP and familiarity with PDGM and HVVBP is preferred.
