Description

  • Originate commercial real estate debt and structured finance deals by building and expanding relationships with borrowers, sponsors, lenders, investors, and intermediaries.
  • Own the full transaction lifecycle from initial client engagement through closing.
  • Source lenders, structure capital stacks, underwrite transactions, and manage capital placement.
  • Design and negotiate financing solutions across senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and structured capital.
  • Provide strategic guidance on execution strategy, pricing, structure, timing, and risk-return considerations.
  • Advise clients using real-time capital markets conditions and lender program criteria.
  • Leverage technology, data-driven tools, and workflow automation to accelerate screening, underwriting, and execution.
  • Maintain a disciplined, efficient process that supports high transaction volume and quality.
  • Develop and maintain a repeatable book of business with recurring deal flow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, debt, or structured finance.
  • Proven track record of closing institutional-scale transactions, including individual deal sizes of $15MM+ and annual volume of $50MM+.
  • Deep fluency in capital stack structuring, underwriting, term sheet negotiation, and lender program criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transactions end-to-end from origination through closing.
  • Preferred: existing book of business generating $75MM+ in annual volume.
  • Preferred: experience raising programmatic or relationship-based capital beyond one-off deal execution.
  • US-based role with remote work indicated (#LI-Remote).
  • Independent contractor status; no employee benefits provided.

  • Typical annualized earnings of $180,000 to $300,000 across US locations, with higher earnings possible for top performers.
