Description

  • Source new opportunities and drive consistent deal origination across borrowers, lenders, investors, and intermediaries.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, lenders, investors, sponsors, and other market participants.
  • Lead the full debt and equity placement process, including sourcing capital providers, structuring capital stacks, and underwriting transactions.
  • Prepare marketing collateral and support client and investor communications throughout the transaction process.
  • Negotiate term sheets and manage all parties through closing.
  • Provide CRE capital markets guidance on strategy, risk, lender criteria, and execution paths.
  • Use technology, workflow automation, and data-driven tools to accelerate screening, packaging, and execution.
  • Support high transaction volume with efficient, professional execution.
  • Deliver hands-on support through the closing of transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets on the debt side.
  • Proven track record closing institutional-level transactions at scale, including individual deal sizes of $10M+ and annual volume of $20M+.
  • Fluency in capital stack structuring, term sheet negotiation, underwriting, and lender program criteria.
  • Ability to lead capital strategy end to end, including lender sourcing, structuring, packaging, negotiation, and closing.
  • Experience building a capital markets organization or book of business from scratch, preferred.
  • Experience with automated workflow platforms or data-driven deal screening tools, preferred.
  • Experience raising programmatic capital or creating lender products rather than only deal-by-deal syndication, preferred.

  • Commission-based compensation with no base salary.
  • Typical annualized earnings range of $138,000 to $220,000 across all U.S. locations, with higher earnings possible for top performers.
  • Independent contractor status.
