Description

  • Define the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Vomela's enterprise retail application suite.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with enterprise clients to translate operational needs into product requirements.
  • Prioritize features and manage the backlog with clients, internal stakeholders, and engineering.
  • Develop product documentation, user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience across portal platforms from onboarding through ongoing engagement.
  • Architect, build, and prototype enterprise applications such as storefront profiling tools, asset management portals, and workflow automation systems.
  • Design scalable and secure backend services and APIs that integrate with ERP, PIM, and workflow systems.
  • Build and maintain customer-facing portals with real-time visibility into program status, asset libraries, and approval workflows.
  • Lead technical architecture decisions to ensure solutions are performant, secure, and maintainable at scale.
  • Embed AI capabilities and build internal AI tooling to improve product experiences and development velocity.
  • Serve as a technical and product advisor to enterprise clients, including demos, walkthroughs, and product reviews.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and delivery commitments across concurrent engagements.
  • Collaborate with operations, design, and installation teams to align digital solutions with physical program execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of combined experience in product management and software development, with meaningful hands-on development experience.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise applications such as customer portals, SaaS platforms, or internal tools.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise clients in a client-facing product or technical lead role.
  • Background in retail, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems such as ERP, PIM, DAM, or CRM.
  • Experience with AI/ML integration using OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, LangChain, or similar tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps fundamentals, Bitbucket, Kubernetes/AKS, and GitFlow.
  • Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, or other relational and document databases.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and enterprise security patterns such as SSO, OAuth, and RBAC.
  • Experience designing and developing REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Copilot.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including MS Azure, Fabric, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with C#, .Net, Javascript, event streaming such as Kafka, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong UX/UI design sensibility and ability to work in Figma or similar tools.
  • Strong command of product management frameworks including roadmapping, OKRs, Agile/Scrum, and user story mapping.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience scoping, estimating, and delivering projects under tight timelines.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership and limited hand-holding.
  • Experience launching a successful customer-facing B2B product from ideation.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly when information is limited and to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong cross-functional risk identification skills.
  • Experience with storefront management, visual compliance, or physical retail program management platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with large-format print production workflows, signage programs, or retail display operations is preferred.
  • Experience building or leading small product or engineering teams is preferred.
  • Exposure to computer vision, image recognition, or geospatial data in a retail context is preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization dashboards such as D3.js, Recharts, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
  • Consulting or agency background with multiple concurrent client engagements is preferred.
