Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact in the customer value journey and qualify engaged prospects for the sales team.
  • Proactively prospect new customers through phone, email, and social media to create interest and schedule discovery calls.
  • Research accounts, contacts, and stakeholders to generate buying interest and support lead nurturing efforts.
  • Handle objections and tailor outreach to different personas and buying committees.
  • Document activity and outcomes in Salesforce Lightning CRM and keep marketing automation data accurate and current.
  • Work closely with marketing to support lead generation programs, including pre-planning, data entry, follow-up, and tracking.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, partnerships, enablement, and marketing to improve lead quality and best practices.
  • Partner with account executives on account and territory planning and contribute to pipeline building.
  • Assist with tradeshow and event logistics and support when needed.
  • Contribute to team culture and help improve the sales organization through learning, teaching, and feedback.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or equivalent sales role.
  • Proven success generating outbound pipeline from scratch.
  • Experience with cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and creative prospecting.
  • Consistent achievement of outbound metrics, such as 90%+ quota attainment, meetings booked, pipeline generated, or sequences launched.
  • Strong multi-threading skills and ability to engage multiple stakeholders within an account.
  • Ability to tailor messaging to different personas, including senior finance and procurement stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect prospect pain points to the solution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bias toward action and comfort working in fast-moving, evolving environments.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Gong, Salesforce, or Sales Navigator.
  • Experience selling into the office of the CFO is a plus.
  • Understanding of compliance considerations, buying cycles, and stakeholder complexity in CFO-focused sales is preferred.

  • Base salary of $50,000 to $55,000 per year.
  • On-target earnings of up to $85,000 USD annually.
