Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact in the customer value journey and qualify prospects for the sales team.
  • Proactively prospect new customers through phone, email, and social media to generate interest and schedule discovery calls.
  • Research accounts, contacts, and buying committees to identify key stakeholders and tailor outreach.
  • Nurture leads, share collateral, and help overcome objections to move prospects through the sales process.
  • Document activity and outcomes in Salesforce Lightning CRM and keep marketing automation data accurate and current.
  • Work closely with marketing on lead generation programs, follow-up, tracking, and event or tradeshow support.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, partnerships, enablement, and marketing to improve lead quality and best practices.
  • Support account and territory planning with account executives and contribute to pipeline building across the sales cycle.
  • Learn, teach others, and help raise performance within the SDR team while contributing to team culture.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or equivalent sales role.
  • Proven track record of generating outbound pipeline from scratch.
  • Experience with cold calls, cold emails, social selling, and creative prospecting.
  • Consistent achievement of outbound metrics, including 90%+ quota attainment.
  • Strong ability to engage multiple stakeholders across an account and map buying committees.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to tailor messaging to different personas.
  • Collaborative, coachable, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Gong, Salesforce, or Sales Navigator.
  • Experience selling into the office of the CFO is a plus.

Benefits

  • Remote role based in Canada.
  • Base salary of $50,000 to $55,000 per year.
  • Up to $85K CAD OTE.
