Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers by identifying expansion opportunities across Versapay’s payments and AR automation solutions.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to develop coordinated account strategies and execute strategic account plans.
  • Engage finance, accounting, and IT leaders to understand priorities, challenges, and transformation goals.
  • Lead the commercial motion within assigned accounts, including opportunity identification, qualification, value articulation, proposal development, and commercial negotiation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related activities throughout the expansion cycle.
  • Track, forecast, and maintain pipeline activity with accurate updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Implementation teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by teaching best practices, uncovering inefficiencies, and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Drive customer outcomes and revenue growth through long-term relationship building and account expansion.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with bonus consideration for tech startup experience selling into finance and exposure to accounting.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts with a strong focus on relationship building and client retention.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to close mid-market deals without executive sponsorship.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing deals with an average selling price of $50K+.
  • Experience developing and executing your own business opportunities through to final sale.
  • Ability to sell both the emotional and rational value of digital transformation in the invoice-to-cash process.
  • A challenger mindset with the ability to lead with commercial insight and control the sales process.
  • Well organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces while maintaining strong pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and sales engagement platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, or HVS.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000–$90,000 per year.
  • OTE of $135,000–$150,000.
  • Remote position in the United States.
