Description

  • Lead complex pre-sales engagements, including discovery, architecture design, solution positioning, and technical validation.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to IT practitioners, engineers, architects, senior IT leaders, and executives.
  • Translate business objectives into secure, resilient, and scalable technical architectures.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and executive presentations that communicate business value, cyber risk reduction, and operational outcomes.
  • Design and manage proofs-of-concept through technical closure, aligned to customer success criteria.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners on strategies for data resilience, ransomware recovery, compliance, and hybrid-cloud adoption.
  • Create tailored proposals and contribute to enterprise RFP and RFx responses.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and competitive positioning.
  • Partner with sales, product management, engineering, and ecosystem partners to influence solution architecture and product direction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical leadership roles in large enterprise environments.
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, POCs, and executive engagements.
  • Strong technical background in data resilience, infrastructure platforms, virtualization, cloud services, networking, and security.
  • Working knowledge of data security, privacy, governance, and enterprise regulatory/compliance considerations.
  • Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with public presentation experience for executive and technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and able to learn quickly, adapt, and work effectively in fast-moving enterprise environments.
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, troubleshooting, and performance considerations is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, enterprise storage, IAM, and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Prior experience with data protection, cyber resilience, or enterprise infrastructure vendors is preferred.
  • Relevant technical or industry certifications in cloud, security, or architecture are preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing is preferred.
  • Experience with observability tools, API-driven automation, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, cyber recovery, clean-room architectures, SaaS data resilience, and data governance is preferred.
