Description

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for accounts and account managers in the assigned territory.
  • Build a deep understanding of customer goals and explain how Elastic offerings address their needs.
  • Create and maintain value-based relationships across customer organizations.
  • Support territory planning and execution from initial discovery through technical win.
  • Develop and maintain deep product knowledge to present Elastic solutions in sales meetings and at events.
  • Advise the sales team on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services effectively.
  • Onboard, educate, and enable partners, and support them during sales cycles.
  • Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and community to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Engage the regional Elastic community through events, meetups, conferences, and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, or cloud/infrastructure technologies.
  • Professional experience architecting or operating solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development, and operational management practices.
  • 6+ years of experience in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • Implementation experience with SaaS platforms using web technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Track record of success in a technical presales role.
  • Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
  • Strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience influencing teams and inspiring both large and small groups.
  • Willingness to travel 40% within the region and occasionally internationally.
  • US citizenship required.

Benefits

  • Base salary plus variable compensation in a 70/30 pay mix.
  • Typical starting salary range of $107,500 to $170,100 USD.
  • Typical starting target variable range of $46,000 to $72,800 USD.
  • Typical starting OTE range of $153,500 to $242,900 USD.
  • Eligibility to participate in Elastic's stock program.
  • Company-matched 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings.
