Description

  • Own and grow strategic accounts within assigned federal agencies.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned to territory goals.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through close.
  • Engage executive stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, and mission owners.
  • Position Vasion solutions around agency priorities such as IT modernization, Zero Trust, cybersecurity infrastructure consolidation, and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with solutions engineers, partners, resellers, integrators, and internal product and leadership teams.
  • Navigate federal procurement processes, including IDIQs, GWACs, and partner-led transactions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM reporting.
  • Participate in industry events, customer meetings, and partner engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling into U.S. federal agencies.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of federal IT organizational structure and operations.
  • Ability to engage and influence executive-level decision makers.
  • Experience working with federal partners, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and account planning skills.
  • Experience using CRM and sales technology platforms, such as Salesforce, for pipeline management, forecasting, and account tracking.
  • Understanding of SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in government contracting, procurement, compliance, and regulations.
  • History of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience selling into DoD, VA, or large civilian agencies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal compliance and regulatory frameworks, including FITARA, FISMA, FedRAMP, FIPS 140-2/140-3, NIST 800-171, and RMF is preferred.
  • Background in infrastructure, security, or workflow/document automation solutions is preferred.
  • Existing relationships within federal agencies or the partner ecosystem are preferred.
  • Remote candidates based in the Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia area are strongly preferred.
