Description

  • Manage and grow revenue and market share across designated agencies while maximizing customer satisfaction and meeting strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute account strategies in collaboration with the account team.
  • Cultivate customer relationships and ensure effective service delivery to assigned accounts.
  • Build a strong contact network within customer accounts and understand customer workflows and business needs.
  • Oversee all account activities for major city, county, and state accounts.
  • Track customer activity in internal systems to support account strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide customer product training, technical information, demonstrations, and other account support as needed.
  • Manage forecasting, maintain timely management communication, gather competitor intelligence, and share feedback with marketing.
  • Manage the individual expense budget for the territory.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful customer-facing software or SaaS/cloud sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a book of business.
  • Experience with solution or consultative selling in complex sales processes.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM for data management (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to travel 70% or more, including 3-4 days per week on the road and overnight travel.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex solution offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Startup experience and some vertical industry experience.
  • Law enforcement or public safety experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player and own the territory.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
